Student Guide — Finding your way around Studuet

First steps

Getting started, in order

If you've just signed up, do these four things first — everything else on the platform builds on them.

Take the CLP assessment

A short quiz that figures out how you learn best. Find it under Study → CLP Insights, or you'll be prompted after signup.

Browse & book a tutor

Go to Sessions to search tutors. Each one shows a CLP Match % — how well their teaching style fits you.

Upload your notes

Add past papers or notes to your Study Bank so Uris (your AI tutor) can teach from your own material.

Set a study goal

On the Today page, set a weekly goal so your progress ring and streak start tracking.

Layout

Your sidebar, explained

Everything in Studuet is reachable from the sidebar on the left. Here's what each section is for.

Today

Your home screen — upcoming sessions, study streak, XP leaderboard, and quick links to everything else.

Sessions

Browse and book tutors, see upcoming/past sessions, and join your video session room when it's time.

Study

Flashcards, mock exams, a focus timer, and Duet with Uris (your AI tutor) — all your practice tools in one hub.

Progress

Your Progress Passport — score trajectory, Mistake DNA (what you keep getting wrong), and CLP insights.

Squad

Join or create a study squad, chat with squad-mates, and compete on the XP leaderboard together.

Study Bank

Upload notes, past papers, and materials. Uris reads them and teaches you based on what you've uploaded.

Settings

Your profile, password, notification preferences, currency, and subscription plan.

Help

Submit a support ticket and track its status — for anything this guide doesn't answer.

Sessions

Booking your first session

From the Sessions tab:

1. Search or filter tutors by subject/exam — sort by CLP Match % to find your best fit.
2. Open a tutor's profile, check their availability, and pick a time slot.
3. Choose solo or group booking (group sessions cost less per student).
4. Pay for the session — you'll get a confirmation email with the date and time.
5. When it's time, go to Sessions and click Join to enter your video session room.

Study

Studying between sessions

You don't need a tutor booked to keep making progress:

Duet with Uris

Your AI tutor, available any time. It uses your CLP and your Study Bank materials to explain things the way you learn best.

Flashcards

Spaced-repetition decks — review what's due today, or build your own from your Study Bank notes.

Mock Exams

Timed practice tests that adapt to your level, with a Mistake DNA report afterwards showing your weak spots.

Focus Timer

Pomodoro-style timer tuned to your CLP attention-span profile — logs study time toward your goal automatically.

FAQ

Common questions

Where do I find my tutor's video link?▾

Go to Sessions, find the upcoming session, and click Join once it's within 15 minutes of the start time. There's no separate link to hunt for — it opens straight into your session room.

What's the difference between "Study" and "Study Bank"?▾

Study is your practice hub — flashcards, mock exams, timer, and Uris. Study Bank is where you upload your own notes/past papers so Uris and your flashcards can be built from your material.

What is CLP and why does it matter?▾

Your Cognitive Learning Profile — a short assessment that figures out how you learn best. It's used to match you with compatible tutors and to adapt how Uris explains things to you. See the full Platform Guide for details on CLP, XP, and other terms used across the site.

How do I change my currency or payment details?▾

Go to Settings — your display currency, subscription plan, and payment methods are all managed there.
